Union Artists was set up originally to be a Music Artist Management company.
With the changing face of the music industry in recent years, Union Artists now covers; Music Artist Management, Record Company and Music Publishing all under the Union Artists umbrella.
The company name Union represents our business approach to working together with artists, musicians, and other music companies.
This gave birth to Angelic Union, who launched the career of The Hoosiers who recorded at Angelic Studios. Licensed to RCA The Hoosiers first two albums went on the sell 750,000 albums, going double platinum in the UK alone with their debut release.
Angelic Union’s latest signing Milly Pye is now licensed to Columbia Records (a Sony Company), launching her debut single in Q1 2016.
Union Artists also managed Welsh indie rock act The Automatic who’s debut album ‘Not Accepted Anywhere’ charted at No. 3 in the UK top 40 and was awarded platinum certification in music sales. The BBC named it amongst the top 10 greatest Welsh albums of the 2000s (decade). The album contained the huge hit and anthem single ‘Monster’.
Lucky Chair is the latest company under Union Artists umbrella that has The Shires as it’s first signing. In 2015 Lucky Chair licensed to Decca Records (part of the Universal Group) the debut album from The Shires – ‘Brave’. This album is one of only four debut albums in 2015 to have gone Gold in the UK.
As the music industry continues to change, Union Artists remains a Management company, though now is much more of a Music Company. We have a love of music at the centre of everything we do, we only work with music and artists we love…….Union
